ABOUT

The urban space design is a unique, interdisciplinary program combining aspects of town planning, landscape, and architecture. It is an advanced study that focused on the issues and design of urban spaces linking to human behaviour and settlement. The full-time programme is one and a half years in duration and for the part-time mode takes two years, which is equivalent to four semesters.

ADMISSION AND ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

A Bachelor's degree (Hons.) in Built Environment or a relevant field from UiTM or any institution of Higher Learning recognised by the Senate of UiTM with minimum CGPA of 2.75; or

AREAS OF SPECIALISATION

Urban Design, Town Planning, Place Making, Sustainable Development, Urban Governance, Urban Transportation and Infrastructure.

MODE AND DURATION

Mode:

  1. Full Time = Duration: 1½ Years (3 semesters)

  2. Part Time = Duration: 2 Years (4 semesters)

Continuous assessments (Non-examinable courses):

Projects, assignments, paper review/critique, case study analysis, test, seminar and presentation.

Examinable courses:

Coursework: 60%

Final Examination: 40%
