Persatuan Penyelidik Persekitaran-Perilaku Manusia, Malaysia Association of Malaysian Environment-Behaviour Researchers (AMER) Current researchers in the environment-behaviour (environmental psychology) field in Malaysia seemed to work in 'silos'. There is a need to create a database amongst those researchers for mutual benefit. Hence, the main purpose for the establishment of AMER. It was officially launched during the Opening Ceremony of 1nCEBS on 14th November 2009, with the Formative Meeting held in the evening. With the setup of the protemp committee, efforts are underway to make it legally registered.
We are in the process of calling members for the Annual General Meeting (AGM). AMER Membership Form is available here . Please download and return the form together with proof of payment and CV so that we can keep you posted on the details of the forthcoming AGM. All applications shall be processed within 24 hours upon submission. AMER membership is also opened to non-Malaysian citizens.
One benefit in becoming a member of AMER is the huge discount given to members who attend forthcoming activities (national or international-level) organised by cE-Bs / AMER. With the great possibility of future ACEBS and AiCEBS to be held abroad, the discount given to members would more than pay back members’ annual fees.
Due to logistics, administrative and financial reasons, AMER is currently and temporarily placed under the care of cE-Bs. AMER Annual Membership Fees
