Community, Culture, Crime
During the AJEBS Editorial Board Meeting No. 1 held in conjunction with 1nCEBS 2009, several themes for AJEBS forthcoming editions were charted, which would also be the themes for forthcoming ACEBS and AiCEBS conferences to be held.
“Community, Culture, Crime” was chosen as the theme for ACEBS 2010 Kuching. Even though the theme seemed specific, however it encompassed quite a range of environment-behaviour issues in various settings.
“Community” can either be macro (localized population, eg. Kampong Baru residents, etc.) or micro (specific population, eg. pediatric population in hospital wards, students in university campuses, shoppers in retailing outlets, etc.). “Culture” can be ethnic-based, age-based, community-based, etc. “Crime” can involve different types of crimes in different types of physical settings.
Furthermore prospective papers can encompass all the theme’s topics, community-culture-crime altogether or specifically just focus in any one of the topics.
