Faculty of Architecture, Planning & Surveying

We are pleased to welcome you to FSPU. This faculty is the world’s most comprehensive centre for learning about the built environment. This is one faculty where all aspects of the built environment and construction industry are being taught and researched under one roof. There are eleven departments offering 29 academic programmes ranging from diploma level to doctoral degrees. It is expected that the research culture and activities will be further invigorated through the recently established Centres of Excellence.Teaching is handled by highly trained and experienced professionals who are experts in their respective fields. The faculty members are represented by a balanced mix of academicians trained locally and abroad.

At FSPU students can expect more than just serious academic environment. The close-knit community is made more exciting with the inclusion of international students from the neighbouring countries. The faculty operates at four separate locations. The main campus is at Shah Alam and the others are Seri Iskandar in Perak, Arau in Perlis and Kota Samarahan in Sarawak. The unique locations mean that each campus has its distinctive character. The academic standard is well maintained through continuous assessment and moderation by internal committees, external examiners and the relevant accreditation bodies.
